Hi, my name is Nikki and welcome to Nik's-Naks! Thank you so much for stopping by! I've been in the Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work world all of my life...until January of this year. The company I worked for closed and it pushed me to starting my dream job! In February of 2012 I officially started JNC Events & Designs, LLC (DBA: Nik's-Naks), and so far it has been a blessing! What is this you ask? I am an Interior Designer with a passion for event planning...so that's what I do! I also like to sew, bake, quilt and create just about anything...which led me to this blog. I figured I'd share my journey of successful creations and also flops with you. But this is only what I do...this is who I am:

I am the daughter of our Risen King, I thank the Lord everyday for the wonderful blessings he has shared with me. Because of His faithfulness I am the wife of the most A-mazing man ever (seriously)! Matt Chaffin was created for me on February 23, 1984...he just didn't know it then. But he does now! We were sitting at the opposite ends of the same pew at church one Sunday and then the meet and great "Hand Holding Song" came on and it was all over once our fingers locked!

We were married May 8, 2010.

He is the love of my life and my biggest supporter and fan. I appreciate all of his hard work which allows me to do what I do. We love to travel and it seems we are on the go more so than not. You can read about our many travels on here! We are "living and loving" right now and have no little ones, we do however have "Mr. Perfect", our German Sheppard, Jack.

We are both blessed with amazing Christian families! They love us unconditionally and support us through whatever is tossed our way! We love each and every one of them!
